Supplement for sleep|best working natural supplement
Sleep is a very important part of recovery. I can’t emphasize that enough. I try to always get at least 8 hours of sleep a night. Melatonin is the primary supplement I take to get a better night sleep and enhance my recovery:
You can find melatonin at any grocery or pharmacy. It will help you get a deeper sleep and feel more recovered in the morning. The brand that I find works the best is Nature Bounty. I mainly use it the night before a big race. I try not to use it often because the body can get accustomed to it and its effect is weakened come race day.
Don’t forget to put it under your tongue for 30 seconds before swallowing. This allows it to enter your blood stream faster. Be careful to only use melatonin at nighttime and for no longer than two weeks at a time. (I am not sponsored or funded by nature bounty.) Also, drinking water before you sleep will help you to get better rest. I try to drink 32 ounces of water 30 minutes before I got to bed. It takes 30 minutes for water to pass through your body so you can use the bathroom before you go to bed and not have to wake up in the middle of the night.
